Internet on the NUS campus has been down for the past day, so I've
been unable to put up the next post in my Malaysian adventure. I'm
attempting this post by email, something I haven't tried before.

Started in 2007 while I was an exchange student in Singapore, this blog sat inactive while I finished college and worked for a few years after graduation. Soon I will leave Oregon for Nakuru, Kenya with Katie Cobb. We will spend eight months volunteering - myself at a school and microfinance organization, her at a hospital. This blog will tell the story of what we're doing, where we're going, and how sick we are. (Just kidding, Mom!)

I think I'm going to print off all your blogs when you come back in the winter so that I have the first edition of your abroad journalism. When you become an executive editor for National Geographic, or The Economist, I'll make a fortune! :D
